LD Board Operation
CN9005 ~ CN9014 supply voltages to the panel LED arrays.1.
The positive (+) pins supply approximately 13Vdc (panel size dependant).2.
The negative pins will vary between approximately 1Vdc and 3Vdc, depending on the brightness level of that section.3.
LD Board Troubleshooting
Force on the backlights.1.
Check the fuses (F9001S, F9002S, F9003S, F9004S, F9006S)2.
on either side for approximately 30 Vdc; if abnormal, suspect a defective panel, SMPS or LD. 9
Check the negative pins on CN9005 ~ CN9014 for approximately 1Vdc (due to forced operation).3.
LD Board/Panel Troubleshooting
Verify SMPS Vdrv 30 Vdc to LD Board (CN9001).1.
Unload the LD Board by removing the cables connected to CN9005 ~ CN9014.2.
Check the 3. fuses on either side for approximately 30 Vdc (only when LD Board is UNLOADED).
If voltage is 30 Vdc on all 5 fuses -
Panel is likely defective. 9
If voltage is low on any fuse -
LD Board is likely defective. 9
