- WhenrecordingbeginswiththeVASfunctionon,recordingwill
occurfortwosecondsjustafterstarting,regardlessofwhether
soundisdetectedornot.
- Ifthevoicelevelislowerthanacertainlevelforapproximately
twoseconds,recordingpauses.
- SincelowvoicesmaynotberecordedduringtheuseoftheVAS
function,toensurerecordinginsuchsituations,turnofftheVAS
function.

Youcanadjustthevoicesensinglevelinfivesteps
(1-5)toaccomodatethesourcevolumelevel.
Alargervaluewillincreasethevoiceactivation
sensitivitysorecordingwillbetriggeredbylower-
levelaudio.Ifthevalueistoosmall,thisunitmaynot
detectvoice.Setthemicrophonesensitivity(seepage
18)inaccordancewiththesourceinputlevelsothat
theVASfunctioncanworkmoreeffectively.
