Calling Emergency Numbers
You can place calls to 911 (dial and press
), even if your phone is locked or your account is
restricted. When you place an emergency call, your phone
automatically enters Emergency mode.
Press Options (right softkey) to display the options. To select
an option, highlight it and press .

Speaker On to activate speakerphone mode. (If you are in
speakerphone mode, the option will appear as Speaker Off
to deactivate.)

Unlock Phoneto unlock your phone (appears only if the
phone is locked).

Close Menu to close the pop-up menu (appears only if the
phone is unlocked).
Tip:Press My Phone (left softkey) to display your phone number during
Emergency mode.
To exit Emergency mode:
1. Press .
2. Press Options (right softkey) to display the options.
3. Highlight ExitEmergencyand press .
Note:When you are in Emergency mode, you can only exit from the options
menu.
