Setting the Text Entry
To set the text entry:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Others ().
4. Select Text Entry.
5. Select your desired option and press .
Auto-Capitalto set the auto-capital On or Off.
My Words to set your original words (see page 45).
InputLanguage to select the language (English or
Spanish).
T9 Settings to customize the T9 settings (see page 44).
Add Wordto store words that you use frequently (see
page 45).
Setting Abbreviated Dialing
Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. It allows
you to dial a number by entering 3-6 digits of any number in
your Contacts Directory. If the digits you enter do not match
any stored Contacts entry, your phone will automatically
prepend the digits you specify.
To activate this feature:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Others ().
4. Select Abbrev. Dial.
5. Select Ph. Book Match.
6. Select Enable.
