FM MUTING LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
Set FM-SG as follows: modulation frequency 1 kHz fre-
quency deviation 75 kHz dev. (100% modulation).
@ Set the multing switch of the unit to. LEVEL 2.
(1) Set FM-SG to 98 MHz and tune the unit to that fre-
quency level.
(2) Apply 40 dB to the 300-ohm terminal antenna.
(3) Tune R221 (SVR) and set it at the position where the
VTVM needle stops swinging or the waveform on the
oscilloscope becomes very small.
@ Set the muting switch of the unit to LEVEL 1.
(1) Apply 28 dB to the 300-ohm terminal antenna.
(2) Tune R225 (SVR) and set it at the position where the
VTVM needle stops swinging or the waveform on the
oscilloscope becomes very small.
* When the muting function is ON, the waveform
decreases in size, and weak signals and noise are cut off.
