Saving a Phone Number
Your Sprint PCS Phone can store up to 300 Internal
Phone Book entries. Phone Book entries can store up to a
total of 500 phone numbers, 300 e-mail addresses, 300 web
addresses, and the entry’s name can contain 16 characters.
To save a number from the Standby mode:
1.
Enter a phone number.
2.
Press to display the menu options.
3.
Highlight
Save Phone#
and press .
4.
Select a label by highlighting
Home
,
Work
,
Mobile
,
Pager
,
Data
,
Fax
or
No Label
and press .
5.
Enter a name, and press or . (If you have
already stored any entry to the Phone Book, you are
prompted to select the entry mode
New Name
or
From Phone Book

6.
Press (left soft key).
After you have saved the number, the new Internal
Phone Book entry is displayed. (See “Internal Phone Book
Entry Options” on page 84.)
Finding a Phone Number
You can search for Internal Phone Book entries with phone
numbers that contain a specific string of numbers.
To find a phone number:
1.
Enter the digits at least four. The more numbers you
enter, the more specific the search becomes.
2.
Press .
3.
Highlight
Find
and press .
4.
To display the Internal Phone Book entry that contains
the phone number, highlight the entry and press .
To dial the number, press .
Note:
A phone number labeled
Fax or Data can only be
dialed through a
personal computer.
