86 Using Your Internal Phone Book
Storing and Viewing the Long Phone Numbers
Your Sprint PCS Phone can also store five 48-digit phone
numbers within its 500 phone number memory. If you
enter more than 32 digits, it is necessary to enter a hard
pause or 2-second pause between any 2 digits within the 32
digits, or immediately after the 32 digits. (See also “Using
the Pause Feature” on page 90.)
To store a long phone number (for example, 48 digit
storing):
1.
Enter the 32-digit number.
2.
Press to display the menu options.
3.
Select either
Hard Pause
or
2-Second Pause
,
and press .
4.
Enter the rest of the 15-digit number.
5.
Press to display the menu options.
6.
Highlight
Save Phone#
, and press .
Then follow the menu instructions.
Viewing Long Phone Numbers
1.
From the Standby mode, press to display the
main menu.
2.
Highlight
Phone Book
, and press .
3.
Highlight
Long Phone#s
, and press .
4.
The Long Phone number’s list appears, then highlight
your desired entry.
5.
Press to see the details.
To make a call from the list, press at the step 4 or
5 above.
