3-4. New refrigerant R407C cannot be used for existing models
1. Compressor specs are different.
When refilling the R22 compressor with R407C, durability
will significantly decrease since some of the materials
used for compressor parts are different.
2. Existing piping cannot be used.
Completely cleaning out residual refrigerating machine oil
is impossible, even by flushing.
3. Refrigerating machine oil differs.
Since R22 refrigerating machine oil is mineral oil, it does
not dissolve in R407C. Therefore, refrigerating machine
oil discharged from the compressor can cause
compressor damage.
