2-6-5. GEAR POSITIONING (See Fig. 2-6-5.)
Gear positioning is necessary when a gear is removed and
replaced.
(1) Turn the pulley completely clockwise (so that it is
in the “unloading finished” condition).

(2) Check to be sure that the (A), (B) and (C) marks of
each gear are aligned.
(3) If they are not aligned, remove the gear and then adjust
so that the (A), (B) and (C) marks agree. (Do so in the (A),
(B), (C) order.)
