For this model, both ree! bases are rotated according to the
drive by the capstan motor.
As a result, the method employed for transmission of the
rotation of both reel bases has been changed from the reel
motor used for previous models (VHR-1100, VHR-1300
and VHR-1500 series) to the capstan motor.
Even though the operation for each mode has changed from
the reel motor to the capstan motor, the movement of the
mechanism is fundamentally the same as for previous
models.
