6.1 Maintenance by the Customer
You must calibrate the BioPAT
®
Xgas sensors regularly. Observe the LED
displays on the BioPAT
®
Xgas analyzer.
6.1.1 Calibration
t Perform the 1-point calibration during initial startup and always when the
analyzer indicates you do so.
t Aerate once monthly for approx. 30 minutes with normal fresh air (20.97%
by volume O
2
| 0.04% by volume CO
2
) as per specification (see Data
Sheet). Next, press the two keys at the same time for 5 seconds (Fig. 8).
t For the recommended annual recalibration, return the sensor to Sartorius
Stedim Biotech.
