Cleaning and Maintenance
y That dialog box “Start depressurization” appears.
t Tap the [START] button.
y The dialog box “Depressurization” appears.
y The device depressurizes. The process takes about half a minute.
t To cancel the depressurization process before it is finished, e.g. if a sufficiently
large vessel is unavailable: Tap the [x] button.
y That dialog box “Start depressurization” appears again.
t Carry out depressurization as described above again.
y When depressurization is complete, the dialog box “Turn off device” appears.
t Disconnect the device from the power supply.
t Pressurization is carried out when the device is switched on again.
8.8 Carrying Out Venting
During venting, the device fills and rinses the ultrapure water cartridge. Air is
removed from the ultrapure water circulation in the process.
Given the following conditions: The ultrapure water circuit must be purged:
− The displayed water quality is fluctuating continuously during operation.
− The device was taken out of service for an extended period.
Procedure
t Tap the menu item [Venting] in the “Care” menu.
y The dialog box “Remove filter” appears.
t Remove the final filter (see Chapter 8.5.3, page 58).
t Confirm removal of the final filter with the [
OK] button.
y The dialog box “Prepare rinsing” appears.
t Place a vessel (at least 1 liter) under the water outlet. Alternatively,
connect the dispense tube and run the free end to the drain.
t Tap the [OK] button.

Tap “Start” to begin depressurization.

Remove the lter
Remove the sterile nal lter.
