7.1 Warranty
• General Coverage:
SATO warrants the mechanism, printer electronics and power supply, under normal use and operation, to be
free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase by
the end user. Proof of purchase is required. If proof of purchase or product registration cannot be established,
original shipment date from SATO America, Inc. will be used to establish the warranty period.
• Printhead Coverage
SATO warrants the printhead, under normal use and operation, to be free from defects in material and workman-
ship for a limited period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase by the end user or 500,000 inches,
whichever occurs first.
• Return of Goods Under Warranty
SATO America’s policy in effect for returning in-warranty product;
A ‘Return Material Authorization' (RMA) must be obtained from SATO America, Inc. before returning any product.
• Spare Parts Availability
Recommended spare parts are available for purchase. Please refer to the spare parts price list offered by SATO
America, Inc.
