Memory Format
If all saved messages in the printer need to be deleted, use < Memory
Format> to achieve that.
Caution ： <Memory Format> function could be performed
under any status unless power is off.
The procedures of “Memory Format” as below:
1. Enter< Message Store-3>, select <Memory Format>.
2. Insert user password and then press <1> to confirm it.
Program Update
The program of printer may need to update at some time. The
procedures as below:
1. Shutdown the printer to the status of “Printer is off”.
2. Plug the USB memory disk which has the update file into the
USB port on ECU board;
3. Enter <Message Store-3>, select <Program Update>, the printer
will be updated automatically which last about 20 seconds. And
“Printer is reading USB file”, “Saving data”, “Printer is off” will
be displayed successively on the “System Status Zone” of the
screen.
4. All the messages saved in USB memory disk will be displayed at
the “Parameter Setup Zone” of the screen.
5. Use up or down <Direction key> to move the select box to the file
you want.
6. Press “OK” to confirm. The screen shows “Reading the file of U
disc”, “Saving the data”, “Printer is off”, and this procedure will
take about 20 seconds.
