Check the amount of fluid in the ink and make-up fluid
replenishment bottles.
Ink Level Low or Make-up Level Low warning occurs when the
level of fluid in either bottle drops below the height of the ink or
make-up level sensor inside the fluid bottles. This warning will
appear on the printer display screen. You have approximately 20
minutes to add fluid after a warning occurs before the printer
shutdown automatically.
Caution
: The printer does not have to be turned off to
perform this procedure.
1. Identify the fluid bottle to be replaced.
2. Unscrew the cap from the new fluid bottle and discard the
cap. Slice the foil and slide it back to remove, as shown in
Figure 6-5 below.

3. Open the door of the cabinet, loosen the screw, and pull out
the maintainance pallet.
4. Open the cap of replenishment bottle, adding the fluid to the
level of 2/3 of the bottle. (Do not add over high level mark, in
case of leaks)

5. Tighten the cap. Discard the fluid bottle removed from the
printer following appropriate regulatory guidelines.
