Procedure 2
Prime make-up or cleaning solution into
the flush s

stem
Caution: Refer to Ink Maintenance Flow Charts on
page 6-16 before performing ink
maintenance procedures.
Make sure there is
enough fluid in the
make-up bottle and
the “printer is off”.
Turn the make-up
tank cap clockwise to
take off it.
Use a container to
hold the pipe with
yellow mark.

Switch on the
power supply.
Enter <System
Maintenance>, select
“Manual Control”.
Open PUMP, Make-up
Solenoid in turn, the
make-up will flow out
continuously.
Close Make-up
Solenoid, and then
open Cleaning
Solenoid. Close it
until ink flow out
continuously.
Put on and tighten
the ink tank cap
again
Return to
Figure 6-10.
Exit “Manual control”
to stop priming
make-up.
