Usage Features
Operating Procedure:
Before connecting the appliance, ensure your hands are dry and the mains voltage matches the device's rating label. If using an extension cord, verify it can handle the device's power consumption to prevent short circuits or fire. Always unplug the appliance by grasping the plug, not the cord, to avoid damage or electric shock. Unplug the device after use, before cleaning, or when moving it. Avoid pulling the power cord around sharp corners or near heat sources. Ensure the cord is not twisted or bent over table edges. Place the unit on a dry, flat surface, ensuring hot steam does not damage furniture or walls. Before cooking, check that the interior and exterior are clean and free of foreign objects between the bowl and the heating element.
Standard Procedure:
- Plug in the appliance.
- By default, the first program indicator lights up. Select the desired program using the "Menu" button (18). The selected program's button will light up.
- Press the "Start/Stop" button (15) to begin cooking.
- To cancel a program, press "Start/Stop" again.
Setting the Cooking Time:
After selecting a program, the default cooking time will appear on the display (13). Use the time setting buttons (+) (10) and (-) (16) to adjust the hours and minutes. For example, to set 2 hours and 30 minutes, press the (+) button until "2h" is displayed, then press the (-) button until "30min" is displayed.
Delayed Start:
To use the delayed start function, select a program, then press the "Timer" button (12). The timer indicator (11) will light up. Use the time setting buttons (+) (10) and (-) (16) to set the desired delay time. The maximum delay is 24 hours, and the minimum is 10 minutes. During the delay, the timer indicator will flash, and the display will count down. Once the delay ends, the timer indicator will turn off, and the appliance will begin cooking.
"Keep Warm" Mode:
After cooking is complete, the multi-cooker automatically switches to "Keep Warm" mode (73°C). The "Keep Warm" indicator (8) will light up. This mode can last up to 24 hours. To disable it, press the "Keep Warm" button (9) and wait for the indicator to turn off. The temperature in "Keep Warm" mode can be adjusted between 63°C, 73°C, and 83°C by pressing and holding the "+" or "-" buttons while in this mode.
"Yogurt" Program:
The "Yogurt" program is specifically designed for making yogurt. It maintains a temperature of approximately 40°C, which is ideal for bifidobacteria growth. The default cooking time is 8 hours, but it can be adjusted using the time setting buttons. For best results, use only organic whole milk.
