• Restrict access to the system only to

password. You can also restrict usage
rights by application; for example, you can
restrict scanning or faxing to authorized

• With Encrypted PDF Transmission, you can
encrypt documents to protect them against
interception, falsification and tampering
during transmission. You can even encrypt
data registered in the system’s address book.
• Using Locked Print, you can protect your
confidential documents from being seen
or accidentally picked up in the output tray
by unauthorized users—eliminating costly
mail boxes.
