Maintenance
Installing the xed contacts
NO/NC contactors with arc chambers:
X Place the new xed contact (2) on the contact car-
rier surface.
X Push the xed contact (2) towards the centre of
the magnetic drive as far as it will go.
X Make sure that the xed contact on the contact
support side is tightly in touch with the contact
carrier surface.
X Tighten the xed contact with the two screws:
- First tighten the inner screw (1a).
- Then screw in the outer screw (1b).
X For 600 A devices, place the bracket (3) on the
xed contact as shown in Fig. 38 and screw on the
bracket together with the xed contact using the
screw (1a) and the washer.
X Tighten both screws to the specied torque:
- For 1,200 A and 2,000 A devices with 12 Nm.
- For 600 A devices with 7 Nm.
- First tighten the inner screw (1a), then the outer
screw (1b).
X To install the second xed contact (2) repeat the
steps above.
