pump into forward using the Concrete Pump For-
ward button. The system will pressure out, with
the oil going over the main relief valve. The pres-
sure showing on the Concrete Pump Pressure
gauge will be the main relief valve setting.
5. To increase the main relief valve setting, stop the
concrete pump with the Concrete Pump Stop but-
ton. On the main relief valve cartridge use a 9/16”
wrench to loosen the jam nut and a 5/32“ allen
wrench to turn the adjustment screw in (clock-
wise). When increasing the pressure, the adjust-
ments should be made in quarter turn increments.
Your target pressure will be found on the hydrau-
lic schematic.
6. When the proper main relief pressure is achieved,
pressure cut-o󰀨 can be set. Stop the engine and
follow “Lock Out - Tag Out procedure” on page
92.
7. Return the pressure cut-o󰀨 screw to it’s original
position by turning the pressure cut-o󰀨 screw out
(counterclockwise) one quarter turn and locking
the jam nut.
8. Start the engine, clear the E-Stops and increase
the throttle to maximum RPM. Place the concrete
pump into forward using the Concrete Pump For-
ward button. The pressure showing on the Con-
crete Pump Pressure gauge will show the pres-
sure cut-o󰀨 setting.
9. Go to the pressure cuto󰀨 screw on the hydrau-
lic pump and back o󰀨 the jam nut with a 13mm
wrench. With a 4mm allen wrench turn the pres-
sure cuto󰀨 screw in (clockwise) or out (counter-
clockwise to achieve the target pressure shown
on the hydraulic schematic.
After pressure cuto󰀨 is set, return the pump to neutral,
bring engine RPM to idle, open the soft switch quarter
turn valve, and either proceed to other pressure set-
tings or shuto󰀨 the engine.
Setting the soft switch relief pressure
First, open the soft switch quarter turn valve that you
closed in the previous procedure. The rest of the unit
should still be set up as if you were going to check the
main relief valve pressure; concrete pump shuto󰀨 valve
still closed (Figure 40).

When you put the pump in forward now, the main con-
crete pump pressure gauge should read 100 bar (1450
PSI). If adjustment is needed, loosen soft switch relief
valve jam nut (Figure 41) with a 9/16 open end wrench,
and use a 5/32 allen key to adjust the pressure. Turn
the adjustment screw in (clockwise) to raise the pres-
sure or out (counter clockwise) to lower the pressure.
When you attain the required pressure, tighten the jam
nut while holding the allen key to keep the pressure
from rising. Be sure to open the quarter turn shuto󰀨
valve when you are nished. The unit will not stroke
with this valve closed.
