  If you hear a grinding, rubbing, or scraping noise while rotating the pedals on your SCIFIT Exercise Bike, it could be due to several reasons. The 6” pulley might have moved and is rubbing against a pem nut on the monocoque. Another cause could be a bad bearing on the spindle crank shaft or in the brake. Lastly, the belt might not be aligned correctly. To resolve this, try the following: * Realign the pulley by loosening the set screw on the pulley collar and sliding it over. * Replace the bearing. * Replace the brake. * Realign the belt.
