CUFF ALIGNMENT (CANT) MECHANISM
› We recommend having your knee position measured and your
cant adjusted by an experienced boot fitter.
› Once you determine whether you want the cu canted in (less
cant) or out (more cant), make note of the current position of the
bottom of the cu, making a reference mark with a pen.
› Insert a 4mm hex key into the center of the cant mechanism.
› Rotate the outer ring with a pointed tool in its hole. Using your
reference mark, determine where you want the cu. As the cu
moves down in reference to your mark, you are increasing its cant.
As the cu moves up, you are reducing its cant.
› Holding the outer ring in the desired position, tighten the inner
hex bolt securely.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR SCOTT BOOTS
› Use only soap and water to clean your boots.
› When drying shells and liners, keep them away from direct sourc-
es of heat, i.e. radiators, open fires, etc.
› Before storing boots for a long period of time, be sure that the
liners and shells are completely dry, put the liners in the shells, and
close the buckles loosely.

CALZARE/TOGLIERE GLI SCARPONI DA TELEMARK
A seconda della morfologia del piede, esistono due modi di calza-
re/ togliere gli scarponi :
› PER CALZARE O TOGLIERE LO SCARPONE CON LA SCAR
PET-
TA INSERITA NELLO SCAFO : aprire il gambetto in posizione ‘walk’
sollevando la leva posteriore. Allentare il più possibile i lacci (spe-
cialmente nella parte inferiore) e calzare o togliere lo scarpone.
› PER CALZARE LO SCARPONE CON LA SCARPETTA INDOSSA-
TA : calzare la scarpetta e chiudere i lacci senza stringerli ecces-
sivamente. Chiudere il gambetto in posizione ‘ski’ girando la leva
posteriore verso il basso. Partendo dalle dita, infilare il piede nello
scafo. Assicurarsi, nel momento in cui si calza lo scarpone, che la
linguetta posteriore dello scafo sia sollevata; infilare quindi il tallo-
ne nello scarpone seguendo la linea della linguetta.
