TELEMARK BOOT ENTRY/EXIT
According to the shape of your foot, you will probably have a pref-
erence between one of two ways to enter/exit the boots :
› FOR BOOT ENTRY OR EXIT WITH THE LINER IN THE SHELL,
loosen the laces as much as possible (especially the very bottom
lace) and step into or out of the boot. Some skiers prefer to also
put the cu in walk mode rather than locked downhill mode. The
High Overlap makes an easy “handle” to grab. Spread the two
overlaps and the boot is easy to enter or exit. You can also use the
tongue loop to aid entry.
› FOR BOOT ENTRY WITH THE LINER ON YOUR FOOT, put the
liner on and snug down the laces comfortably. Lock the boot cu
into the downhill mode by flipping the rear lever down. Toe first,
step into the shell. Be sure that the shell’s rear tab in the Achilles’
area is up when you step into the shell, and slide your heel down
that tab.
