SAFETY INFORMATION 23
Use this light while your watercraft is anchored on the water after dark so that
other boaters can see your watercraft.
While at rest, with the anchor down, set the switch on the console to the anchor
position.
Once underway again, return the switch to the navigation position.

The red navigation light is always on the port (left) side of the watercraft.
The green navigation light is always on the starboard (right) side of the
watercraft.

NNOOTTEE:: Keep this information in mind as you watch other boats navigating in the
area.
Watercrafts must display navigation lights when they are being operated be-
tween sunset and sunrise and during periods of poor visibility, including rain and
fog.
These lights help to alert other boaters of your presence and course.

All engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide (CO), a deadly gas. Breathing car-
bon monoxide can cause headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, confusion
and eventually death.
Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas that may be present
even if you do not see or smell any engine exhaust. Deadly levels of carbon mon-
oxide can collect rapidly, and you can quickly be overcome and unable to save
yourself. Also, deadly levels of carbon monoxide can linger for hours or days in
enclosed or poorly ventilated areas. If you experience any symptoms of carbon
monoxide poisoning, leave the area immediately, get fresh air and seek medical
treatment.
To prevent serious injury or death from carbon monoxide:
