Step 3: Long press the power button to
power light on and off.

Step 1: Unscrew light head from grip and install one 18650-type rechargeable Li-ion battery or two single-use CR123
batteries. Batteries sold seperately for item SL654. For SLKIT08, the light includes one XTAR 18650 2600mAh battery and
battery charger. Battery is pre-installed in the light. Remove yellow contact protector from battery before powering on.
Step 2: The light uses two O-rings to maintain a waterproof seal.
1) O-rings and sealing surfaces must be perfectly clean.
2) Inspect O-rings for cuts, tears or other damage and replace if
damaged or at least once a year (item SL65401).
3) Lube O-rings lightly before each use.
Battery warning: Only use 18650 battery with button-top (not flat-top), integrated protected circuit, minimum 2600 mAh,
minimum 3.5A discharge current and cell made by Panasonic/Sanyo Japan or Samsung Korea. Two single-use CR123
batteries may also be used. Never use rechargeable CR123 batteries. Using a non-conforming battery is a potential safety
hazard and may damage the light. Recommend using Xtar brand 18650 Li-ion button-top battery with 2600Ah or higher.
Remove battery before storage. Do not use any battery that has been exposed to water or is damaged in any way. Do not
power on the light if water has entered the light. Remove the battery and contact your local authorized SeaLife dealer for
service. Dispose batteries in accordance with your local regulations.
Guarantee: SeaLife warrants the original purchaser of this product, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, that the
product is free from defects in workmanship and materials. In the event the original purchaser believes there is a defect in a product,

Important:
1) After each dive, soak the sealed light in fresh water for about 20 minutes to remove any residual salt, sand and dirt.
Dry light with clean towel before opening battery compartment or storage.
2) A battery indicator light is located around power button. Green = full power, yellow = half power and red = low power
(Replace/recharge battery).
3) The light is designed for underwater use. Water displaces heat and prevents the light from overheating. Avoid using
the light on land for prolonged periods of time or it will become hot and may cause burning if touched. A thermal
sensor will dim the light if internal temperature exceeds 150°F (65°C).
