The exterior mirror cannot be adjusted and
all functions are deactivated.
Heated exterior mirrors

The mirrors only defog for a few minutes to
avoid unnecessary battery drain.

Press again to reactivate the function if nec-
essary.

The heating of the exterior mirrors is activated
based on the outside t

Folding the exterior mirrors when locking the
vehicle
Button
> Settings > Mirrors and
wipers > Mirrors in the inf
otainment sys-
tem can be used to select the folding of ex-
ternal mirrors when the vehicle is parked and
locked ›››page35.
When the vehicle is locked or unlocked from the
outside, the exterior mirrors may fold in or out
automatically, depending on the equipment.
If the rotary control of the electric exterior mir-
rors is in the folded position, the exterior mirrors
remain folded.
Manually folding the exterior mirrors
The vehicle's exterior mirrors can be folded in.
To do this, press the mirror housing towards the
vehicle ›››
.
WARNING
Folding the exterior mirrors in and out care-
l
essly can cause injury.

Only fold or unfold the exterior mirror if
ther
e is no one in the path of the mirror.

When moving the mirror, be careful not to
pinch your fingers betw
een the mirror and
the mirror holder.
NOTICE
The electrically folding exterior mirrors must
only be oper
ated electrically, not by hand,
as this could damage their electric drive.
NOTICE
Before washing the vehicle in an automatic
car w
ash, please make sure that the exterior
mirrors are folded in to prevent them from
being damaged.
Note

If the electrical adjustment should fail to
oper
ate, both of the mirrors can be adjusted
by hand by lightly pressing the edge of the
mirror glass.
●
The folding function on the exterior mirrors
will not activ
ate at speeds over 40km/h
(25mph).
