The following functions are available in the Air
conditioning menu, depending on the equip-
ment:
Front submenu
Submenu for the air conditioning in the front
of the vehicle interior where the following func-
tions are found:
Switching the Climatronic o/on

Synchronises the temperature settings
from the driver's side to the front passen-
ger and/or rear area. Activates the tem-
perature control for the passenger side

and/or rear zone to set a dif-
ferent temperature.
The colour of the arrows in the image
of the vehicle interior indicates the temper-
ature requested depending on the ambient
conditions, not the air outlet temperature.
The direction of the air outlet is selected
with the buttons ›››Fig.115

Switching air recirculation on and o

Manual steering wheel heating setting
with three heating levels. Press the func-
tion
button repeatedly to achieve the
desired level. To disconnect it, press several
times until no LED is on ›››page151.
Switching the cooling and demisting
system on/o.
Switching the maximum cooling output
on and o. The air recirculation mode
switches on automatically and the Clima-
tronic automatically directs the air to the
upper body.
The air conditioning system contains a
filter that can reduce allergen contami-
nants. When the Air Care function is ac-
tivated, the recirculation mode is on and
the air is regulated automatically and con-
tinuously, as long as no fogging hazard is
detected.
