The door opening warning (Exit Warning)
operates continuously as long as the vehicle
ignition is on. Otherwise, the system is deac-
tivated and the lamps light up briefly.

It is possible that the trac situation is
not interpreted correctly and you cannot be
aware of all the objects that are approach-
ing, such as pedestrians. Always visually
monitor the trac and the area surrounding
the vehicle.
WARNING
The door opening warning (Exit Warning) is
subject to system limits and cannot warn of
an imminent collision in all cases:

If your vehicle is too deep in the parking
space and the adjacent vehicles hide it.
●
In certain circumstances, objects or people
who approach, e.g. on a bicycle or scooter,
are not detected.
●
The system does not react to stopped ob-
jects.
