  If your Segway Offroad Vehicle's engine stops or loses power, the first thing to check is the fuel level. If it's empty, refuel. Also, water in the fuel, old fuel, or non-recommended fuel can cause this issue, so drain the fuel system and replace the fuel with new fuel. Inspect the spark plugs for fouling or defects and replace them if needed. Make sure the spark plugs are sparking and that the stop switch is off. If the crankcase is filled with water or fuel, immediately see your dealer.

When starting out on an incline, use low range. Drive at a higher speed or use low range more frequently, especially at low RPM or low ground speed (approximately 5-10 km/h). Warm the engine before driving, particularly in low ambient temperatures, to make the belt more flexible. Use the throttle quickly and effectively for efficient engagement. When towing or plowing, use low range only. The use of low range is highly recommended for cooler CVT operating temperatures and longer component life.

Check and tighten any loose ignition connections. Replace the fuel if water is present. Recharge the battery to 12.5 VDC if the voltage is low.
