too
short.
CLEANING
AND
MAINTENANCE
It
is
best
to
clean
the
cutting
unit
and
the
comb
attachments
after
each
cutting,
so
as
to
avoid
its
excessive
fouling
with
hair
and
whiskers.
Cleaning
the
body
of
the
clipper:
You
can
clean
the
body
of
the
hair
clipper
using
a
lukewarm
moist
cloth.
Do
not
use
harsh
cleaning
fluids,
paint
thinners
or
solvents.
These
can
damage
the
surface
of
the
appliance.
Caution:
ei
Do
not
submerge
the
body
of
the
hair
clipper
under
water
because
it
contains
parts
under
live
current
(recharging
battery)!
Cleaning
of
the
cutting
head:
1)
Turn
off
the
clipper
and
if
the
power
adapter
is
connected
remove
it
from
the
power
outlet
and
from
the
clipper.
2)
Remove
the
comb
attachment
from
the
device.
Using
your
thumb
push
the
cutting
unit
back
and
pull
it
out.
3)
Using
the
cleaning
brush
supplied,
remove
the
remaining
hairs
from
the
cutting
head.
4)
After
the
cutting
unit
is
fully
cleaned,
insert
it
back
into
the
device
by
placing
the
bottom
lug
on
the
cutting
head
into
the
bottom
opening
in
the
upper
part
of
the
hair
clipper
body,
then
firmly
press
on
the
cutting
head
until
you
hear
a
click.
Lubricating
the
head:
1)
Remove
the
comb
attachment
from
the
device.
Using
your
thumb
push
the
cutting
unit
back
and
pull
it
out.
2)
Place
one
or
two
drops
of
the
supplied
oil
in
between
the
cutting
blades
and
spread
it
evenly.
After
using
up
the
supplied
oil
use
only
oil
not
containing
acids
(e.g.
oil
for
sewing
machines).
3)
Wipe
off
excess
oil
using
a
cloth.
4)
Then
insert
the
cutting
head
back
into
the
device
by
placing
the
bottom
lug
on
the
cutting
head
into
the
bottom
opening
in
the
upper
part
of
the
hair
clipper
body,
then
firmly
press
on
the
cutting
head
until
you
hear
a
click.
