Temperature control
Using the temperature control, the
temperature inside the chamber can be
innitely adjusted between 40 und 100 °C
(MAX).
Timer-supported models
∙ With timer-supported models, set the
timer to the desired time (up to 120
minutes) or to continuous operation
(ON/Continue).
∙ The heating element is activated only
once the timer is set.
∙ Processing times below 20 minutes
cannot be set.
∙ Once the pre-programmed time has
elapsed, the appliance switches off
automatically.
Outlet tap:
∙ This appliance has a practical outlet
tap for pouring out low-viscosity liquids
(e.g. mulled wine); it is also useful when
emptying the chamber after use.
∙ To open the tap, push the lever down. To
open the tap permanently, pull the lever
all the way up.
∙ Caution: Do not attempt to draw
soup from the tap as this would clog
it.
Heating-up beverages
∙ Remove the grid insert from the cooker.
∙ Put in the beverages and attach the lid.
∙ Insert the plug into the mains outlet.
∙ Set the temperature control to the
desired temperature.
∙ The pilot light comes on; it will go out
again, once the desired temperature has
been reached.
∙ For warm-keeping, set the temperature
control to 50-70 °C, and draw the
beverage from the outlet tap.
Heating-up soup
∙ Remove the grid insert from the cooker.
∙ The appliance is also suitable for
heating soup and keeping it warm.
∙ Put in the food and insert the plug into
the mains outlet.
∙ Set the temperature control to MAX. The
pilot light comes on.
∙ Caution: During the heating process,
the food must be continuously stirred
to prevent it from sticking or burning
in. Caution: Do not use any metal
implements for stirring.
∙ For warm-keeping, set the temperature
control to 50-60 °C; stir frequently.
∙ Caution: Do not draw soup from the
tap.
