∙ The markings apply to fridge-cold eggs
of size M.
∙ An individual stepless setting is possible
depending on the number and size of
eggs:
For smaller eggs and eggs at room
temperature, turn the control a little
further to the left.
For larger eggs, turn the control a little
further to the right.
∙ A beep sounds and the indicator light
ashes when the cooking time for the
set degree of hardness has expired.
∙ Turn the rotary control to .
∙ Remove the plug from the wall socket.
∙ Open the lid. Caution: When the lid is
opened, hot steam will escape.
∙ Remove the egg holder with the eggs
from the bowl and place it immediately
under cold running water. Note: if the
eggs are not removed from the boiler
without delay, they will continue to
harden.
Cleaning and care
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
socket, allow the appliance to cool down
and pour out any remaining water before
cleaning.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the appliance with water and do
not immerse it in water.
∙ In order to prevent the polished surfaces
from being damaged or scratched, do
not use abrasives or harsh cleaning
solutions.
∙ Wipe the water bowl with a damp cloth
only.
∙ Lime residues that appear in the water
bowl can be removed with a solution of
water and a little vinegar. Boil in position
with clear water.
∙ Rinse the egg holder and then dry it or
clean it in the dishwasher.
∙ If the lid is very dirty, you can take it off
and clean in rinsing water. To remove
the lid, lift it slightly and remove it
towards the front. Do not clean the lid in
the dishwasher.
