The appliance is equipped with a 3-position
switch.
0 appliance switched off
I slow juice extraction
II fast juice extraction
Tip!
The slow-juicing setting I is suitable for
soft, juicy fruits or vegetables such as
melons (peeled), tomatoes etc.
For harder fruits or vegetables such
as apples, carrots etc, we recommend
using the quick-juicing setting II.
Operation
Preparing the ingredients
Clean and cut up the fruit or vegetable
as necessary, so that the pieces t down
the feeder tube. Remove any stones,
pips or cores to prevent damage to the
appliance.
Preparing the appliance
Ensure that the switch is set to its 0
position.
Place the lter holder onto the drive unit
with the juice outlet to the right.
Fit the lter into its holder, pushing it
rmly down by the rim until it is heard
locking into place. It is important that the
lter is securely attached and not at an
angle, and that it can be turned easily.
Slide the pulp container on the left side
of the unit under the rim of the lter
holder, tilting the container slightly.
Place the transparent lid onto the lter
holder. The left side of the lid must
engage in the pulp container. Secure
the lid with the locking clip, which will
activate the safety switch. Ensure that
the locking clip engages rmly on both
sides into the locking recesses on the
lid.
Fit the juice container with its lid below
the outlet.
Juicing
Insert the plug into the wall outlet and
put the switch to the required setting.
Feed the clean, pre-cut fruit or vegetable
pieces down the feeder tube while
the unit is running. When inserting the
pestle, ensure that its guide slots slide
over the two protruding knobs on the
feeder tube, and then push the pieces
lightly down. Caution: Excessive
pressure may result in damage to motor
or lter.
When processing large quantities of fruit
or vegetables, the pulp container and
juice container must be emptied from
time to time as necessary.
If larger quantities of food pulp should
have accumulated in the lter holder,
switch the appliance off, disconnect it
from the mains and clean out the lter
holder.
