Always make sure that the cooking container or plate used does not contain any metal decoration such as a gold rim or
colour containing metal particles. Lead crystal objects are also not suitable. Always make sure that no parts of the cooking
containers used are hollow (e.g. the handles). Porous materials may have absorbed water during cleaning and are again
not suitable. Cooking containers or utensils made of ‘Melamine’ plastic material absorb energy and are also unsuitable.
Microwave function
Containers made from heat-resistant glass or porcelain are well suitable for use in microwave appliances.
Plastic is suitable only if it is heat-resistant.
Cooking bags etc. should be punctured to be able to release any high pressure during cooking.
Plastic cooking containers especially designed for use with microwave ovens are available at most kitchenware dealers.
Grill function
All types of heat-resistant crockery and containers that are also suitable for a conventional oven can be used for the grill
function.
Plastic dishes must not be used when grilling!
Microwave and grill combinations
In combination operation, the microwave and grill are alternately switched on. Therefore, the dishes must be
microwaveable and heat-resistant.
Plastic dishes cannot be used due to the high temperatures.
The dishes must not contain any metal.
Grill rack
The grill rack can be used with the microwave and grill functions.
Warning! Do not remove the rubber stoppers on the grill rack!
Place the grill rack on the glass turntable.
The food can be placed directly on the grill rack.
