Setting the clock:
∙ Once the unit has been connected to the power supply, the display shows ‘0:00’ and an acoustic signal is heard.
∙ For the timer to function properly, the internal clock must be set correctly:
∙ Press . The hour digits start ashing in the display. Turn the rotary control to set the correct hour value.
∙ Press again.
The minute digits start ashing. Turn the rotary control to set the correct minutes.
∙ Press to conrm.
Cooking with microwaves
∙ Put the food in a microwave-suitable container (see Always choose suitable kitchen utensils) and put it on the turntable.
∙ Close the door.
∙ Press for microwave operation. P100 starts ashing in the display.
∙ Press repeatedly, or turn the rotary control, to switch between different power levels:

Quick-programming
∙ The most commonly used microwave time-settings can be called up simply by pressing . With this function, the
microwave power setting is always 100%. Each press on the key adds 30 seconds to the cooking time.
∙ The cooking process starts as soon as the key is pressed for the rst time.
Using the grill function
The grilling process uses radiation heat to process the food. This programme is suitable for cooking ‘au gratin’ or for grilling
thin pieces of meat.
∙ Put the food to be cooked in a container suitable for grilling (see Always choose suitable kitchen utensils), or on the grill
rack directly on the turntable.
∙ Close the door.
∙ Press . P100 starts ashing in the display.
∙ Press repeatedly, or turn the rotary control to select grill function G.
∙ Press to conrm the selection and turn the rotary control to set the required cooking time.
∙ Press to start the cooking process.
Using the combination programmes
The appliance features two combination programmes:
C-1: The microwave function is active for 55% of the pre-programmed time, while the grill function is active for the remaining
45%.
C-2: The microwave function is active for 36 % of the pre-programmed time, while the grill function is active for the
remaining 64 %.
These programmes are useful for sh, potatoes, soufés or cooking ‘au gratin’.
∙ Put the food to be heated or cooked in a container suitable for use with the combined function (see Always choose
suitable kitchen utensils), and put it on the turntable.
∙ Close the door.
∙ Press . P100 starts ashing in the display.
∙ Press repeatedly, or turn the rotary control to select the combination programmes C-1 or C-2.
∙ Press to conrm the selection and turn the rotary control to set the required cooking time.
∙ Press
to start the cooking process.
