13.4.2 Configuring the serial communication

Proceed as follows:

ü There is a serial connection between your PC and the devices you want to config-

ure via the interface adapter.

1. Click on the icon [1] in the toolbar.

2. Select the communication type “Serial” from the drop-down list [1].

ð In the example, "Serial" is activated as the communication type for the first

communication channel [2].
