6.2.2 Notes on PE connection
WARNING
Electric shock due to faulty ground connection or faulty equipotential bonding.
Severe, fatal injuries
• The permitted tightening torque for the retaining screws is 2.0 – 2.4Nm.
• Make sure to install the ground connection and equipotential bonding correctly.

Earth-leakage currents of ≥ 3.5 mA can occur during normal operation. To meet the
requirements of EN61800-5-1, observe the following notes:
• The protective earth (PE) connection must meet the requirements for plants with
high earth-leakage currents.
• This usually means
– installing a PE connection cable with a minimum cross section of 10mm
2
– or installing a second PE connection cable via separate terminals that must not
be smaller than the cable cross section of the supply system cable.
