This chapter describes the basic behavior of the MOVIMOT

inverter on EtherCAT

when controlled with process data objects (PDO) for fieldbus communication.

The MOVIMOT
®
inverter is controlled via the permanently configured PDOs, which are
3 or 10 process data words in length. These process data words are directly mapped
in the process image when using an EtherCAT
®
master, which allows them to be ad-
dressed directly by the control program.
