Your helmet comprises three layers: The
outer shell, the polystyrene lining, and
the comfort padding. The comfort pad-
ding may be removed for cleaning.
A
Cheek pads
In order to remove the cheek comfort padding:
1. Pull the plastic tab at the rear of the anti-
turbulence side pads out from between the
polystyrene lining and shell.
2. Fit your fingers between the
comfort padding and polysty-
rene lining.
3. Pull the comfort padding for
the cheeks away from the polys-
tyrene lining by unsnapping the
three plastic press studs. Then
slide the comfort padding along
the chin strap and out of the
helmet.
NOTE: Be sure your fingers
are between the comfort padding
and polystyrene lining before
pulling. The comfort padding
press studs should release rela-
tively easily. If not, you have
incorrectly positioned your fin-
gers between the polystyrene
lining and shell, and you will
damage your helmet if you exert
too much force.
