If the battery p ow er voltage is sufficient, the BATTE RY / RECORD LED indic ato r is bright while the PLAY button ( II> ) or
FAST -FO RWARD b utt on ( 11>11> ) is pressed. W hen this indi cato r di ms. the ba tt ery p ow er is used up, and t he re is a dec rease in
the
voltage. T herefore , replace all 4 ba tt eries wi th new ones. A decrease in the ba tt e ry power voltage may mak e recording
impossible, although playback is possible. For importan t recordings, chec k if the BA TT E RY /RECORD LED indicator is bright
by press
in g the PLAY button ( II> ). When the indicator is dim , r epl a ce all 4 ba tt eries wi th n ew ones.
1. Remo
ve the batt ery cover located at th e bottom of the uni t.
2. R ep lace the batt e ri es. Always rep lace all batt e ri es (4 pcs.) at the same time.
Be sure that the"+" a nd" - " marks on th e batt ery corres po nd to the " +" and" - " marks in the ca se.
3. R ep lac e the batt ery co ver.
Note : A dead ba tt ery, if l ef t in t he ba tt ery compartmen t. may cause ba tt ery leakage, t hus a damaging the unit.
Remove the dead ba tt ery promptly.
