Press the |2ndF| lF-El and fsl (or [9] ) keys.
1. Trigonometric functions and Second Function^pQ
The angular mode is designated by the l2ndFl pT~|keys. As you press this key the
mode "DEG", "RAD", "GRAD" will appear at the lower part of the display.
Put the angular mode at "DEG".
Calculate: Sin 30° + Cos 40° =
Key in the following: 30 I sin I pfl 40 [cosI
Answer: 1.266044443
The yellow key in the upper left of the calculator marked "2nd F" must be used
to designate the material appearing in brown above each key. When this key is
depressed, the designation "2nd F" will appear in the lower part of the display.
If you press this key in error, press it a second time and the "2nd F" designation
will disappear.
