6. Adjustment of Ram Gib (Vide Figure 30):
Ram gib is attached to the position between the ram and the turret dovetail. Tightness of ram can
be adjusted properly by gib bolts.
a. Loosen the ram lock bolts (A).
b. Clean the slideway and add the lubricant
c. Loosen the nuts on gib bolts (B).
d. Use a screwdriver to adjust the gib bolts until the ram sides smoothly.
e. Lock up the nuts.
