③ Tube arm lock release switch
Pressing the “Tube arm lock release switch” can unlock the support stand,
thus allowing the X-ray tube assembly to be moved into position.
④ Small movement switch
When the tube arm is unlocked, pressing the “Small movement switch” will
move the system slowly forward or backward (approx. 5 cm/s). When the
tube arm is locked, the system cannot be moved.
The small movement function will automatically stop after 10 seconds
of use.
⑤ Measure
This is used to measure SID (distance between focus and film) before an
exposure is initiated.
⑥ Irradiation field adjusting knob
This knob adjusts the size of irradiation field.
⑦ Collimator lamp switch
This switch has the same function as the “Collimator lamp key” on the
X-ray control panel.
It can turn the collimator lamp “ON” or “OFF”.
⑧ Distance piece
This piece sets the minimum distance that the collimator must keep from a
patient’s body during an X-ray exposure.
