4.3 Moving the System
WARNING
Make sure that there are no obstacles in the way when moving
the system.
If the system hits a drip infusion stand or runs over cables of
other equipment, it may pose a serious danger to the patient. The bumper
switch on the front of the system may not detect anything light in weight such
as drip infusion stand or cables from other equipment.
WARNING
During the normal travel mode (where the tube arm is locked), do not move
the system over any step higher than 5 cm or along a slope steeper than 7
degrees. When stopping the system, always park it in a level place.
Otherwise, the
system could roll down a slope or topple over.
CAUTION
To stop the unit in any emergency press the “Emergency stop
switch” on the power supply panel.
If you press the “Emergency stop switch”, it will not be possible to make any
x-ray exposures. When resetting the “Emergency stop switch”, watch to see that
the system does not make any abnormal movements. If the system moves
abnormally, stop using the system and contact your nearest authorized
Shimadzu service center.
CAUTION
If the red LED of the battery indicator is lit, immediately charge the battery.
NOTE
The brake can not be released and the system cannot be moved from the
time you begin the preparation for exposure to the end of the exposure.
NOTE
When the power cord is connected to a main power outlet (and the power
light indicator is lit), it will not be possible to drive the unit.
However, if the key switch is turned toON position , battery charging is
stopped, then only the release of the brake is possible.
NOTE
When the device is moved by the electrified body, you may feel the shock of
static electricity according to conditions such as humidity and clothing.
