4.3 Moving the System
Mobile DaRt Operation Manual

4.3.2 Normal Travel Mode
When the tube arm is locked (refer to “4.4.1 Tube Arm Lock”), the system is in
the normal travel mode.
By applying a force to the handle while gripping the brake lever on the lower
surface of the handle, the system moves in the direction of the applied pressure.
The moving speed varies according to the pressure applied to the handle with
the power-assisted drive mechanism. The maximum speed is approximately 5
km/h. The power-assisted drive mechanism can be set to one of the 15 steps
from “light” to “heavy”. The acceleration can be set to one of the 15 steps from
"easy to accelerate (light)" to "slowly to accelerate (heavy)". The steer control
can be set to one of the 11 steps from “easy turn” to “easy straight”. The
backward power-assisted drive mechanism can be set to one of the 11 steps
from “light” to “heavy”. Refer to “4.8 User Setting”.
4.3.3 Slow Travel Mode
If the tube arm is not locked (refer to “4.4.1 Tube Arm Lock”), the unit will
automatically select the slow travel mode and the traveling speed of the system
will be limited to about half the normal speed. In this case, the strength of the
power-assisted drive is limited to about half of its normal power.
CAUTION
Do not allow the unit to climb over a step during the slow travel
mode.
Otherwise, the system may topple over because the tube arm is not locked.
