Replacing the chainring
When replacing the chainring, make sure that the chain is attached.
Refer to “Installing the chainring and crank arms” and “Installing the arm covers” for detailed
instructions.
1. Remove the right crank arm.
2. Remove the arm cover if it is attached.
3. Remove the lock ring (left-hand thread).
Hold the rear wheel firmly while removing the lock ring to keep the chainring from
turning.
