Replacing the chain guard
TECH TIPS
• The TL-FC39 can be secured to the TL-FC36 with a zip tie as indicated in the
figure below:

4. Replace the chainring.
Remove the chainring, then install a new chainring.
Replacing the chain guard
To replace the chain guard, first remove the chainring from the bicycle.
Refer to the previous item “Replacing the chainring” for information on how to remove the
chainring.
