The Fairway Navigation (FW) function displays the distance from your current location to
the center of the fairway in the direction you wish to hit, as well as the distance from that
point to the green.
While navigating
Briefly press the middle button to switch to Fairway View.
This function is useful in situations like dogleg holes or trouble shots where your ball
is off the fairway. Point the top of the device (the 12 o'clock position on the watch)
in the direction you want to hit to get distance from your current location to the
center of the fairway in the direction you wish to hit, as well as the distance from that
point to the green.
If there is no fairway in the direction the device is facing, or if there is a green, the
distance from the current location to the green will be displayed.
If you hit your ball into the trees as shown on the left, Fairway Mode will show you
the distance to the fairway in the direction you are facing, and the distance from
there to the center of the green.
Real Distance Display
Displays the total remaining distance from your current location to the fairway and from the
fairway to the green.
A message will be displayed if compass calibration is required. To calibrate, move
the device in a figure-eight pattern a few times.
During fairway navigation, height difference map is displayed.
The distance to the fairway will not be displayed if it exceeds the driver distance set
in the navigation settings. In such cases, only the distance from your current location
to the green will be displayed.
Aim Function (During Fairway Navigation)
This function assists you in correctly addressing the target for your shot.
1. When Fairway Navigation is active, briefly press the middle button to lock onto the
direction you wish to hit. A red line will appear indicating the locked direction.
2. As you start addressing the target in the desired direction, the red gauge will move.
3. When you turn 90 degrees from the desired direction, a blue address line will overlap
with the red target line, completing the aim.
The gauge changes color from red to blue, indicating correct alignment.
