Mount the SIBS® 4 pump enclosure and bracket to the vehicle chassis.
Connect and route the park/emergency brake hydraulic hoses to the pump and brake.
Mount the SIBS® control unit on the dash above the centre console.
Connect the cabin harness to the control unit and route it through the dash.
Connect the vehicle interface harness to the cabin harness and interlocks.
Connect the battery power harness and pump harness to the vehicle.
Top up reservoirs, check battery, and reconnect vehicle power.
Bleed the park/emergency brake system and perform final checks.
Activate door, seat belt, and stall interlocks and verify warning lights.
Set the Highway Speed Isolation threshold for automatic brake release.
Daily check of fluid levels and brake system operation.
Monthly/5,000 km/100 hrs service including cooling fluid replacement.
Service based on pad wear, including inspection and component replacement.
Check reservoir, test E-stop, verify interlocks, and perform performance test.
Inspect brake pads using the wear indicator plunger.
Drain and refill SIBS® cooling fluid from the driveline brake.
Drain and discard SIBS® cooling fluid from the driveline brake.
Test the integrity of EMMA brake springs using retractor bolts.
Inspect yoke and brake rotor for wear, scouring, and thickness.
Replace piston seals, o-rings, and back-up washers.
Install new gasket, spring cover, and torque cover bolts.
Assemble and torque the brake unit components, including the housing bolts.
Install pad wear indicator plungers and fittings correctly.
Prime the SIBS® pump by running it intermittently to build hydraulic pressure.
Troubleshoot control unit flashing fault codes (e.g., battery, PCB temperature).
Address brake application, release, performance, and holding issues.
Diagnose pump running, intermittent operation, or no-release problems.
