Optical interferences • Remove optical interferences.

wLaser The measurement laser is still operational
but at the end of its service life.
Keep replacement device ready.
wLevel Current damping value is below the recom-
mended damping value. The recommended
damping value depends on the distance
betweenmeasuringdeviceandreector.

page 31, Table 6.
• Clean external lens surfaces like the
reectorandthelens
• Decrease the distance between the
measuringdeviceandthereector.
• Use a distance measuring device with
a higher range. → See page 109, chapter
14.10.
wTemp Internal device temperature is close to the
permissible range.
→ For the permissible ambient temperature,
see page 108, chapter 14.8.
• Check ambience temperature, improve
ventilation if applicable.
• Shield against radiation heat, e.g. share
the measuring device in case of direct
solar irradiation.
• Use device with heating at low ambient
temperatures.
• Use cooling housings for high ambient
temperatures.
